Foxwoods or Mohegan

Trying to plan a girls weekend and was wondering which place was better and where you ate/ went out at night.

Mohegan sun!  Depending on what you want.  Thurs/Fri free concerts in the Wolf Den. Dancing at Ultra 88 - get a reserve a VIP area!  Chill at The Dubliner, grab a martini at the Martini Bar, get margaritas at Jimmy Buffets or Soltoros and enjoy a delicious dinner at Tuscany (highly recommend)!  If you choose to stay there, the rooms and spa area are also amazing!  Its a much nicer, classier hotel than Foxwoods. I hope that helps and have a great time with the Girls!

I honestly could not have said it better myself.  YES Mohegan!

The only time Foxwoods wins out is when I want to go to Hard Rock!

And another vote for Mohegan!  I had my bachelorette party there.  There's a Holiday Inn nearby that has free limo service to and from the casino, too.

I'm the opposite.  Mohegan has better food choices and possibly a better club scene (never been to any at either) but I prefer Foxwoods.  I haven't eaten at any of the new restaurants in the MGM Grand yet but they sound great.  To me and most of my family Mohegan is too dark, disorganized/disorienting layout, and way smokier than Foxwoods (my lungs hurt leaving Mohegan but not Foxwoods).  I've stayed at both and I think the rooms are comparable.

Unless, you want to go to Juniors, then go to MGM / Foxwoods.

Mohegan wins every time! We spent NYE at Hard Rock a couple years ago which was fun, but there were no open food places after midnight. Crazy. and the shopping is awful. Mohegan has a great deal for comedy on Friday nights - $20 for 3 comedians which is about 1.5 hours of comedy. Not to mention the above bars, clubs and restaurants.
