You have the inside scoop on JCrew right? What should my focus be in there? I am poooor so I can't spend much, but what is super hot or totally worth the money?
I think it is just an outlet actually now that I think about it. Not sure if I'll hit an actual regular JCrew. So what's good in their older stuff? Hahaha
Re: Jennyyyyyyyyyyy
I think their "factory" stores don't just carry old/off season clothes, they also have things exclusive to that store if I'm not mistaken. J. Crew online has the factory store open on the weekend F-Su. You could check it out if you can before you go.
I don't go into the factory store here very often. Sometimes we stop in when I want to go to Neiman Marcus Last Call. (If they have one of those at the outlets you should TOTALLY go check out the clothing section - or the sunglass section)
I feel like about 60% of the merch in the factory stores is previous years/seasons merch from the retail stores. The other 40% is "factory first". They're often items created to "resemble" something in the retail stores.
I never really see anything that "stands out" to me because I feel like I've seen it all. But for you it'll be different since you don't have JC in Canada. However... this will be a good time to go. They should have winter coats and things in! I'm personally a sucker for all the embellished tees and long cardigans. The retail stores have had some great "vintage and jewel tone" inspired colors this year so hopefully the factory will reflect that, too!
Good luck! And I wish you were coming further south. We were looking into going to Canada for our first anniversary... but we were looking into Tofino on Vancouver Island... COMPLETELY the wrong direction!
Thanks Jenny!!
