Cheesy Things Guys Do....

SO... some of the guys in our group of friends have started "book club" on Thursday nights. Now it is my understanding that book club just hangs out in th garage and drinks beer. So some of us ladies want to do our own thing on Thursday nights. What are some UNIQUE fun clubs, groups or things you do with your friends? OR can you think of anything guys do in groups that could be fun for the ladies too? P.S. we're not really frilly girls so we can handle things a little more out there.

  • My friends would be all about a wine club

  • We do a supper club with another couple every other week. My friend and I always come up with with new and fun dishes.

With another group of friends, we all take turns on hosting a football party during almost every Bears game. Each couple picks the Sunday/Monday game that works best for them. The host makes the main dish/dishes and the rest of us bring sides to go along.

  • Fondue night...with lots of wine :)

  • Does your group of friends have a favorite restaurant?  I have some friends (they live to far away for me to join) who are all fans of Moe's (the Mexican place).  Every 2 weeks the ladies all get together for Mos (all of the original members are all mothers) at Moe's.  It's just a fun tradition they started when their husbands were all in a bowling league together and they were all pregnant.  They have since expanded it to include non-mothers, and the husbands don't bowl anymore, but they've kept the tradition.

    Poker night!

YES!  Or ladies bowling...see if there's a powderpuff league in your area you can join (or start one).

Dunno how crafty you and your ladies are, but I know a lot of people who enjoy the stitch-n-*** (crocheting, knitting, quilting, whatever -- in a large group, with wine).

  • i do girls game day about every month, we play apples to apples, taboo, scategories and any new games people bring and want to play.

    its potluck snacks.

i would love to be in a scrapbook club with a small group of ladies.
