I am already buying christmas ornaments!!  LOL!!

Part of it is because last year I waited until right around thanksgiving and all the ones I really wanted to get were sold out.

Anyone else like this?

I've been thinking about it. Last year I waited until the last minute and everything I wanted was gone. I have also been seeing some good sales...gonna be hard to wait

Yes! This year is an exception, because we are moving and I don't need a bunch more ornaments. I usually buy them as soon as I see them on the shelf.

In our town, there is a Starbucks that we frequent about once a week.  In the same shopping plaza is a Lowe's.  We've made it a habit that the first week that Lowe's has their Christmas decorations in, we grab our coffee and head over to enjoy them.  We have also made the tradition of buying our first Christmas ornament every year during that trip, and making sure it's one that's not like any of the others we have so we remember the story of it.

Yes! I learned the hard way a few years ago that to get the stuff I really want, I have to buy in October. Yes, October. While that used to seem crazy to me, anymore? Not so much!

I haven't gotten an ornament yet this year, but yesterday I did buy Christmas wrapping paper for a similar reason....I wanted the good stuff before it was gone!  That, and I'm a Christmas fanatic
