Visiting Beverly Hills/LA
My H and I have been to LA before, but I'm looking for restaurant recommendations. My brother will also be in town and we are looking for a nice place to go to dinner. (H and B love beef.) I'm open to all suggestions. TIA!

My favorite LA restaurant is in Hollywood if you don't mind driving. It's actually a seafood restaurant, but they do tasting menus that are to die for:

Best steakhouse in Beverly Hills is Cut. Maestro's is a popular choice and Craft in Century City is nearby. I like BLT Steak in Hollywood, but Mr. Insom's favorite steak house is STK.
The restaurant that I'd recommend for visitors is The Bazaar - not a steakhouse, but serves very inventive food in a very unique space.
I agree that Providence is an amazing restaurant as well - as you'd expect with two Michelin stars.
Needless to say, all these places are pretty expensive. (like possibly $100/pp with booze)
