pretty specific breakfast place request
friends of ours are in town and are staying over east of the 101 on bell somewhere. we live off bell and the 17 and are trying to find a good breakfast place sort of in the middle, and they want a breakfast skillet lol. i'm drawing a blank, and they don't want ihop or dennys or whatever. anyone know of a local place? i know this is kind of a stretch!!
Re: pretty specific breakfast place request
Hmmm, I haven't tried Scramble but when I think local breakfast spots my mind goes to Over Easy or Matt's Big Breakfast. I haven't been to either of them but I hear they're really good and they've both been featured on the travel channel. So yeah I'm only moderately helpful.
Maybe this site could of some help? http://www.mrbreakfast.com/r_city.asp?stateid=3&cityid=114
i only know my one location, but i love chompies. i believe they have skillets. but if you want to make sure, check out their website. their full menu is on there.
there's always ihop... they're all over.

What about Mike and Ronda's? There's one near 49th Ave and Bell. I've only been to the Flagstaff location but DH's family LOVES it there. Huge portions (2 people can easily share a breakfast), pretty cheap and good food.
I don't think they have a website, but here's the Google search with location and reviews - http://www.google.com/search?q=mike+and+rondas&rls=com.microsoft:en-us&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1#sclient=psy&hl=en&rls=com.microsoft:en-us&q=mike+and+rondas+glendale&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=4b3eeabb4c23868d

OMG - I love Mike and Rhonda's (also known as The Place). SO good!! If I am up visiting family and friends in Phoenix and spend the night, I try to go to The Place for breakfast as often as possible.
It's not in the middle of where you are looking, but only a few miles west of I-17 and Bell.
