Your lack of planning....
Does not equal and emergency on part. That's my mantra for today.
We received an unfounded protest on my requirement, one of many that my old boss sat on. There has been back and forth regarding changing the "raw data evaluation sheets" the board did. I responded in writing and talked in person the new person working the protest to explain my position. This morning I come in to an email from my stupid old boss saying her boss needs to work the other person and me to get things fixed. So I just replied to all and again, repeated my email from yesterday and explained based on past legal opinions I didn't thinking changing the "raw data sheets" was necessary and that the report explained any changes between those sheets and further discussion with the board.
OMFG!!! I am heading to another base today for a meeting and am so happy to not have to deal with this crap anymore.

I am home today. I took the day off because work is about to get insane through January and I need a break. I haven't had a real day off since DH was home on leave in May. I am also taking a day next week. Now if only I could figure out why I am awake so early I would be all set. I'll probably do the couple things I want to get done today (put laundry away, do the last couple loads, clear out the junk mail pile) then put on a movie and nap.
