The growing season comes to an end ...
Right on time. We've got a Freeze Watch for my area until Saturday. We normally get our first freeze during the 1st week of November.
Time to harvest my last remaining peppers!

Re: The growing season comes to an end ...
I tried to get some onions and garlic yesterday and they were sold out... so much for procrastination.....
oh and I think I broke my foot when I went outside for one last check of the garden last night. I wonder if my non-dinosaur believing neighbors heard me cussing like a sailor.
my rosemary is outside in the ground. It is almost 4 years old now.
So sad that gardening season is over!! I need to go make sure my artichoke is sufficiently protected. I want artichokes and next year should be the year!
My rosemary is in the ground and is also about 4 years old. Its fairly large, but I have two small ones in the ground in less protected areas that survived last winter. We don't have really severe winters usually but a little snow now and then.
