Re: Happy Thursday!

  • Morning!  Plans = Job 1, Job 2 and maybe beer, wine and pizza after Job 2 with boss, his wife and my H. I should go to Yoga- but I'm thinking not.

QOD: It is nice to spend time with family and see my grandpa- but it is even better to get home and actually spend time with H- we rarely see each other anymore- so getting a full day and day after together will be a really awesome thing :)

Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
  • Yesterday was good and just relaxed. Today I need to head over to the mall and get my nephews birthday present and return a shirt that the seams are coming apart (I only wore it once, which was yesterday). I hope they are good about taking it back. Anyone have any experience returning something to New York and Company?

QOTD: I am looking forward to the food. Especially the mashed potatoes and stuffing with gravy poured all over it. Yum!

  • Yesterday I went home and spent some time with DH before he went to work.  Then I took a much needed nap.  After that I went grocery shopping.  It was nice going late there was no one there.  Then came home cleaned out the fridge and did the dishes and went to bed.

QOTD: I'm being a scrooge about all holidays this year.  I have so much drama going on I'm not looking forward to this year at all.  I am looking forward to spending time with DH and his kids and Black Friday shopping.

  • Yesterday did not go well for me. I locked my keys in the car at a clients house, which means 2 hours and $150 later I got back in my car and now need to work on a Saturday to make up for missing my last clients hours. Go me.

QOD:  Mostly just seeing family. I am not a big plan of actual Thanksgiving food.

  • Yesterday I finally found a job in my field to apply for!  Up until this point I have only been able to find random part time jobs to apply for.  Evening was good.  We got some awesome gyros for dinner and then went over to another couple's house.  They're like family to us so I think we're there every day LOL.

As far as what I'm looking forward to at Thanksgiving...this is H's first Thanksgiving home in the last few years (he's been deployed 2 years and in school 2 before that).  We were just dating those 4 years but it's still exciting.  Also, we are actually going back to our hometown to see our families for the holiday!!!

  • Good morning. Is it sad that I can't remember what I did last night. Oh, wait....yard work, made dinner and watched TV.

No plans for today at all. ::yawn::

I love cooking at Thanksgiving. I've claimed it as my holiday but with DS due so soon around the holiday I am going to skip it this year. SO bummed. :(

  • Morning!  Today's my due date.  We're going to see friends later on today, and I'm going to use a gift certificate I have to go get a pedi.  Getting a pedi is apparently becoming my due date tradition. ;)

Thanksgiving, hmmmm.  Well, I like pecan pie.  I like dessert best, for sure.  I'm another one who's not big on Thanksgiving food.  Except if my mom's mashed potatoes are involved.  Which they usually aren't, since she's all the way in Texas. :/

  • Came home had some dinner with DH talked for awhile, there is Drama right now with some friends and I have a seriously crazy (like soap opera crazy) girl actin up. Took a relaxing hot shower and watched tv in bed. It was great.

QOD: I love to cook. We have a huge thanksgiving so we have so much food.I love greenbean caserole and cornbread stuffing from my grandma's recipe. YUMMY!

Today I get out of work early so I thinkI may go geta mani. My cuticles are shot right now!

It's true. I don't eat turkey, don't like green beans or yams, and pie isn't my thing. I do eat the potatoes, salad, and roll though. Now if you are having a Christmas baking party, I am all there. Big Smile

  • I just worked today, and took the dogs on their walk.

QOD: I love food.  That's pretty much all I have got going this year-we will be with H's family, so that's kind of a bummer (they are all alcoholics, so I get to babysit him so he doesn't get smashed). I LOOOOOOOVE mixing turkey, turkey gravy, mashed potatoes and rolls together.  I am craving it already.

Other than that, Black Friday is getting me pretty excited :D
