What kind of camera do you have?  I love the pictures that you take of Brody.

I have a decent Canon that I got for Christmas, and am thinking of getting an extra lens for it.

  • I have a Nikon D3000 (several ladies on the board have this one, or the D5000) with the 18-55 kit lens. I'm in the market for a 50mm prime lens though. We'll see if it shows up under the Christmas tree this year! Wink

If you are looking at a new lens, check into getting a prime.  The 50mm is highly recommended because it's a fast lens, better glass than a kit lens, affordable, and can open up pretty wide.

     Here's a good post for reference: http://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/44824056.aspx

Otherwise if you want one with a zoom, look into one that does not have a variable aperture like then Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8.
