Citizens bank to charge for paper statements

I don't know how I feel about this.  They aren't charging for people over 65, which is good.  I know I can still print them off of the online account, but I like getting it in the mail.

Re: Citizens bank to charge for paper statements

  • So, basically, they're like BofA, nickel and diming you for everything.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • I go to a co-op, and I wish they would give me the option of losing paper statements. I don't usually even open them. But I don't know how I'd feel if they charged for it? Sounds like they're trying to screw people.

On a semi-related note... The DMV doesn't send out reminders to renew your license anymore! That's a cost cutting measure that I'm sure has resulted in a lot of technically unlicensed drivers on the roads!

For real.  My sister only knew it was time to renew her license because the bouncer at a bar pointed it out to her.

  • This makes me mad. I just opened a joint account and they asked me if I wanted to go paperless and I told them no.....never once did he mention that there would be a fee to get a statement. Why is every place trying to get you??
