If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why? DH's job seems to ALWAYS be talking about transferring him, but luckily it has never happened. But I always tell him that if he has a say, I want to move to Boulder, CO. I've never been, but for some reason I want to live there.
Have you ever lived anywhere internationally? Nope, and I don't think I could. I love being close to my family, and across the country seems far enough, living internationally is too much.
Have you ever lived anywhere other than Massachusetts? Where and when? Yep, as most of you know I was in the SF Bay Area for a while. I moved there in 2000, stayed six years, then moved back here with DH.
If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why? I'd go back to NorCal in a heartbeat. We left a lot of really good friends behind and I miss them. But I felt like I missed out on family stuff when I was there, so it's tough either way.
Have you ever lived anywhere internationally? No, but I always wished I had the opportunity, just for a few years.Have you ever lived anywhere other than Massachusetts? Where and when? I grew up in NJ and moved to Boston for college. My senior year I lived in Salt Lake City for a "semester at ski". This year H and I moved from the city to the burbs!
If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why? Well, I'd love to live closer to my parents and brother in NJ. But logistically it wouldn't ever work I think, because of work and stuff. Also it would be weird to go back to the small town I grew up in. In Dreamland, we would move to Allison's island in Maine. Sounds fabulous.
Have you ever lived anywhere internationally? Nope. H did a semester in Amsterdam in college. I would love to do some extensive traveling, and maybe a temporary (6 months - a year) gig somewhere cool. But that's probably another Dreamland idea.

Yep, I was born in NW Arkansas. Then moved to central AR where I grew up. Lived in Boston for 10 years and now reside in Charleston, SC.
If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why?
We chose SC. It was a good medium, distance wise from our families, and this is where DH was offered a job. I am not married to staying here, but it is unlikely I'd go back to Boston. I would consider the DC area or Chicago if the money was right.

Have you ever lived anywhere other than Massachusetts? Where and when? I was born in the Bronx and grew up in a suburb of Manhattan. I moved to Boston for college, met my husband right before my senior year and as they say, the rest is history.
If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why? I would LOVE to move back to New York. Love, love, love. I miss my family SO much. Don't get me wrong, I love MA, but I miss being a short drive away from my parents, sister, cousins, etc.

Have you ever lived anywhere other than Massachusetts? Where and when? I grew up in Maine- moved to MA when I was 12/13 & lived in Vermont for 4 years in college.
If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why? Maine... because it's home for both DH & I. We love it there.

Have you ever lived anywhere other than Massachusetts? Not really, except the 2 months I was in Australia for school (born, raised, went to college in MA). Where and when? Melbourne, Australia March-May 2005.
If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why? No sure. Job wise (I work in biological research) I'm probably need to stay near the northeast, or in CA. CA seems like a cool place to live, but it would be so far away from everyone I know.
Have you ever lived anywhere internationally? For 2 months during college I went to Melbourne, Australia to work on a project. We lived in apartments, commuted to our "jobs", grocery shopped and cooked our own food, etc. It was like living there because we weren't in real dorms and no food was prepared for us. But I was around my classmates a lot. There were 3-4 people per group and we went to a local company/organization (I was at the Royal Botanic Gardens) and did a project for them.
Have you ever lived anywhere other than Massachusetts? Where and when? I was born in Florida, lived there until I was 8 months old. Moved to Nashua, lived there until I was going into 2nd grade. Moved to NJ, lived there until I was going into 3rd grade. Moved to PA (outside Philly), lived there until the middle of 8th grade. Moved to MA, have lived here since (12 years) except for 4 years of college I was in PA.
If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why? I wouldn't move by choice...only if work took us somewhere. If I had to choose, somewhere still on the east coast, but a little south...PA, MD, VA, NC. I could do with a little less winter
Have you ever lived anywhere internationally? NoHave you ever lived anywhere other than Massachusetts? Where and when? Just once. Between birth and age 1, I lived in Derry, NH.
If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why? DH and I have always talked about living in CO. I love the scenery and he loves the fact that it gets a lot of sun (he's big into solar homes). Or Portland, OR.
Have you ever lived anywhere internationally? No, but I traveled with college and spent 3 weeks in each January ('04-'06) in Ireland, Mexico and Spain.
Have you ever lived anywhere other than Massachusetts? Where and when? I lived in Maryland growing up, spent two summers living in California and Texas respectively. I was in the Peace Corps and lived in the Caribbean in 2000, then moved to Orlando. In 2006, I moved overseas again to Bulgaria, and then moved back to South Florida in 2007. H and I moved from South Florida to Boston last November.
If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why? We really are open to just about anywhere. I'd rather not live in a small town in the middle of the country, but H grew up in a town like that, so it's not beyond the realm of possibility (although I would insist on living near a city.) However, we really love it here. Vermont would probably be our first choice here in the States, and we've often talked about moving to Costa Rica where part of H's family lives.
Have you ever lived anywhere internationally? Yep. Dominica and Bulgaria. We've debated Costa Rica at some point, but it hasn't happened yet and I'm not sure it will anytime soon.Adoption Blog
Have you ever lived anywhere other than Massachusetts? Where and when? I was born and lived in Ohio until I graduated college. As soon as I graduated, I moved to Atlanta and lived there for 3 years. Then moved up here to MA with my now DH 2 years ago.
If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why? We talk about moving all the time. We want to go back to Atlanta - hopefully this summer. MA is just not for us...doesn't offer much for us. Not to mention I hate the winter.
Have you ever lived anywhere internationally? No, but if I was smart I would have studied abroad in college.

Have you ever lived anywhere other than Massachusetts? Where and when? I grew up in South Boston and didn't move out til I met my now husband..we first moved to Dorchester/Southie line and are now living in Billerica
If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why? I would love to live in New York or Chicago..with my husbands job its a good possibility that we will have to be relocated but it will most likely be in the New England area.
Have you ever lived anywhere internationally? I never did, I'm very family oriented and I don't know if I could live in another country from my loved ones.
Have you ever lived anywhere other than Massachusetts? Where and when? I grew up in upstate New York and went to undergrad there (0-21 years). After graduating I moved to San Diego and lived there a year, then moved to Boston. I have been in MA since 2005.
If you were going to move out of state, where would you choose and why? I would love to live in Colorado or Oregon.........love love love both places.
Have you ever lived anywhere internationally? No but would love to live in Paris or Italy.... just for the food.
