what's the weather like....?

I hope you guys don't get asked this often....

We are going to Orlando in 2 weeks and it's the first time traveling with our new baby so I'm kinda stressing (normally I wouldn't care as much) but i'm trying to pack and wanted to know what you girls are wearing about this time of year....long sleeve/short sleeve/shorts? I know everyday is different, but generally what are you girls wearing?

TIA!!

Re: what's the weather like....?

  • The weather had just been fabulous t-shirts and shorts and in the 80s. Today it is cooler for us anyways. It is only 66 and windy out. Needless to say I have pants on. Though I know up north that wouldn't be cold. Honestly the weather at this time of year can be cool or it can be warm. I would check the forecast before you leave.
  • This week we had a day that the high/low was 52/42 and days that will get up to 82.  I would say the best way to pack is layers.  You never know this time of year in Florida so I would suggest that you check the forecast before you leave.  Have a great trip.

  • The weather has been very erratic lately. One day DH and I are swimming in the pool and wearing shorts and t-shirts, the next day it drops down to the 60's during the day and 40's overnight. It's in the 70's today, but is going to gradually climb back up to the 80's by the weekend. I like pp's suggestion of packing layers. Be prepared to have to throw on a sweatshirt or a sweater over a tank top or t-shirt. But don't be afraid to pack your bathing suit for the pool/beach because we are still having weather warm enough for swimming. It just comes and goes.
  • light layers. I cannot stress this enough. It will usually get up to 80 at noon but it can be in the 30s by night!
