How to Overwinter Rose Cutting
I have a cutting from one of my dad's rose bushes that I took in late spring. It's in a pot outside (when I took the cutting I dipped it in rooting hormone, put it in the pot and put it outside). It has a few leaves that have grown out on it, but I'm not sure what to do with it for winter so that it doesn't die.
I did some reading on the internet and I got the impression that some people plant the entire cutting under ground where they want it to grow. Is that right or am I misinterpreting it?
ETA: If it helps, I'm in zone 7. Thanks!
