Anyone live in Raleigh?
My husband and I just got married in June and moved to Raleigh. We are curious to learn more about the area and make some new friends. If you live in Raleigh please fill us in on some fun things to do!

I live in Fuquay, near Raleigh. . but fun things that we do :
Movies, Museums, Concerts, Bars, Putt Putt, Bowling, Shopping, Parks, Sporting Events (NCSU / Hurricanes). . the beach isn't TOO far away. There are a couple lakes in the surrounding areas.

There are a ton of us in Raleigh. We have GTG's (get togethers) every now & then, so keep a look out. Also, we have a monthly book club if you enjoy reading.

wow that sounds like a lot of fun! my DH works with a bunch of old fogies and doesn't have many friends here in NC (they are all in northern VA and party like they're 19)..lol. Can anyone join? I don't post much on this board but I'm pretty active on the bump.
