the other day you posted about your friend getting caught up with that guy from Nigeria....

My MIL was telling me that her neice was talking to a guy with a very similar story. He wanted her to cash his check for him because he didn't have access to his money in Nigeria. *right*

Well, the check turned out to be fruadulent and Dh said he took 4,000 dollars from her account. How stupid can you be? Seriously.

Thanks for posting that story, because I forwarded it to her and to my MIL.

    Yeah, there is a wealth of fraud coming out of West Africa in the last couple of years.  What is more surprising to me is that Americans fall for it.  How do you know see that scam coming?
