Very productive day!
Today DH, DS and I spent all day outside. It was beautiful out, perfect for doing fall yardwork! I planted iris bulbs and day lilies in my rock garden. DH dug up a brick sidewalk in our back yard. We are recycling the antique bricks and putting them around flower beds.
We got half the ground ivy sprayed. That stuff is the biggest pain. Hopefully it never comes back. All summer our neighbor complained about our yard being full of weeds. I'm hoping to hear some compliments next summer!
Tomorrow I'm putting hostas under my maple tree in the front yard. DH will finish spraying that darn ivy.

My hub and I have been going nuts in our yard recently. We planted a bunch of trees and 5 crape myrtles.
My husband got totally obsessed with Maple trees all of a sudden, we got a silver maple and autumn blaze. We are hoping they survive and will thrive here in Texas!
