My husband and I have decided to TTC. We have always used double protection (condoms and Birth Controll pills). I love the feeling of no condoms! This is going to be fun!

Wow, so we're not allowed to post announcements that we're excited about because we just want to share? Our posts ALWAYS have to have some question or "point" to them for you to feel like you're not wasting your time reading them?

I think good for you!!  I am wanting to go off the birth control just to give my body a break from it before we start to TTC and I am sad that we will have to use condoms for a few months.  So good for you!!

When we first were married, DH didn't understand the whole BCP thing completely.  He only new his ex-girlfriend was on it for her cramps, and they only slept together once so they didn't worry about how effective it was.  So, he insisted on using both BCP and condoms.  Well, we've been married a year, and just a few months ago he dropped his paranoia, and we've been relying solely on BCP.  I actually dread the days we use a condom now!  I like to joke with him that since we don't use them very often, when we do, they feel like sandpaper.  lol

I say good for you and I am jealous! I just stopped taking BCP, but since we don't want to TTC til the summer, we're going to have to start using condoms again. Neither of us is thrilled, but we aren't ready for a baby just yet . . .Enjoy yourselves and good luck TTC!
