I know you mentioned you really loved BG XS AIO's and Kissaluvs for the newborn cloth diapers. How many of each did you end up having, or did you prefer one over the other? I need to get my newborn stash built up and this is what I have so far:

1 - Happy Heiny Mini OS
1 - Drybees bamboo fitted Stage 1
2 - Rumparooz Lil Joey's
1 - Fuzzibunz Perfect Size small
3 - Thirsties Duo diapers Size 1
How many total newborn diapers do you think I should have? Or did you use disposables mixed in with yours? I'm thinking either BG XS AIO's, Rumparooz Lil Joey's or more Thirsties Duo Size 1 is what I'll get more of. I'd prefer to spend as little as possible on the remaining newborn ones, so I'll probably skip Kissaluvs since I'd need to buy more covers with those as well. What are your recommendations?

We did use some disposables for the first week or two, especially for night changes. I think that you need about 24 cds and will still need to do laundry every other day. The fuzzibunz and thristies are going to be pretty big at first, especially the FB.
I love my FBs, Will is still fitting in the small and he is 14 lbs. If I remember correctly he started fitting in those around 10 lbs. He is also still in the thirsties.
He also didn't fit in the kissaluvs for as long as I thought. They are recommended for up to 14 lbs, but he didn't get close to that. I ended up with too many of those. I had 13. He has chunky legs and is long, so the legs quickly became too tight and the rise too short.
I didn't have any lil' joeys, but we have 1 rumparooz OS that I really like. It is probably my favorite OS.
I had 6 of the BG XS. I loved these. I also bought a bunch of the smalls. The smalls are barely fitting now because of the rise.
I also had 1 each of the swaddlebees and HH. I liked both.
I think that the reason that I loved the kissaluvs so much is that I never had issues with leaking. It took me a while to figure out how to get the other diapers to fit correctly. I was afraid of putting them on too tight, so they were always loose and leaked.
I am thinking about clearing out some of my stash to buy more, so let me know if you are interested in any used nb diapers.
