help -- washing table runners

hi ladies!

i have looked on the internet but can't find anything so i thought i would ask you all. can you machine wash satin table runners? i am selling mine & some of them got dirty.

  • im not sure if you can, but i'd suggest hand washing them instead. try one adn see if it turns out okay...id be afraid the washer would cause pulls in the satin or something.

  • I put my organza ones in the washer machine.  It was fine!  The stitching on a few corners frayed a little, but nothing major.  I used the gentle cycle and we have a new, front load washer.  I wouldn't trust an older washer machine.  

    If you're worried, try it with just one.  Or you can hand wash like Kim said.
