What's a good way to sanitize your keyboard?

I feel like it's germy, since I had a cold the last few days.  Wipe with a Clorox/Lysol-type wet cloth?
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: What's a good way to sanitize your keyboard?

  • Good question.  I'm sure mine is absolutely disgusting, even though I wash my hands very regularly.  I usually wipe mine with a clorox wipe if I'm feeling paranoid.
  • Well I use 70% ethanol, but that's just because I work in a lab and what's available. Wink A wipe, or regular cleaner sprayed on a papertowel, should work just fine.

  • Lysol, spray and let dry.  I used to work for a pediatric practice and we would blast those keyboards at the end of the day!
  • I live by Lysol. I teach fourth grade, and I regularly spray down keyboards, doorknobs, anything little (aka germy) hands have touched!

  • I never would have thought of Lysol, would have assumed it was too liquidy for the keyboard, but I guess as long as you're not overspraying it's OK?
