Does anyone know how to set the default font in Word 2007?  WTF uses Calibri 11pt.?  My hatred of this program increases with every use.

At the bottom of the font toolbar, to the right of the word "Font" there should be a little thingy you can click that looks like a triangle with an arrow coming out of it. Click that. In the menu that pops up, set whatever you want your default to be, then click on "default." A pop up thingy will ask you if you want to set the default to whatever you just chose, and if you want it to be the default for all new documents. Click yes.

I hate it too.

I have no idea. I'm in a decidedly unprofessional profession. One of my coworkers uses email wallpaper. I HATE email wallpaper.

Word. I was just handed a worksheet for a library orientation class done in 14 point Comic Sans. You bet your arse I'm editing it before I use it tomorrow.

A lot of our templates use Arial, but yeah, 2007 is a downgrade, though I understand that they fixed a lot of what they broke with 2010.  That won't help me at work until 2015 I'm sure, but it's a nice thought.

As a former English major who spent many a days writing papers in MLA format, Times New Roman has a special place in my heart. I even make my 7th graders type in it. Calibri can suck it.
