Re: **Keryn**
I'm going to hop on this train and congratulate you as well!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Thanks ladies!!!
I'm actually going back to the hospital I left 5 years ago. They had a position availiable in their ER...and I figured, why not?
It's a $10K/year increase for me...plus full family benefits as well. I'll be going on nights...but I'm ok with that.
My orientation starts January 10th. I'm turning in my notice this Friday where I'm at. I'm planning on wokring full-time here until January 5th. (Plus...since I am still working in January...they'll need to pay me out for my 3 weeks vacation time that I'm entitled to after 1/1/11.) By staying, I wont lose the employer contributions to my 401K for the year either.
I'm nervous at going back to a hospital setting...especially throwing myself right back into the ER. But they're keeping me on "orientation" and working with a preceptor for 2-3 months, so it should be all good.
