Have you ever sunbathed topless?

I mean out in public.  I haven't really.  When H and I were in the Bahamas getting married we were boated out to a private island that the hotel owned, and dropped off.  Since it was just the two of us on the island I decided to take advantage of the privacy and remove my top.

So your H was okay with you going topless?  The reason I am thinking about this today is because someone on Trip Advisor was seeking out a hotel specifically where his wife could sun bathe topless.  So I asked DH if he would be okay with me going topless, and he said sure.  I was a little surprised that he would be so okay with it!

I think he would have been SHOCKED if I'd actually taken my top off. But in Punta Cana, seriously, over 75% of the women were topless, so I would have blended right in! lol

Maybe that is why my H says it is no problem....he doesn't believe that I would do it.  I am still not sure if I would....I would want to of course...no tan lines!  If there were a lot of other women topless then maybe I would feel comfortable enough.

No I haven't and I don't think I would.  I feel really self-conscious just thinking about it.  We have a fenced back yard and there are spots where you can sit and not see any of the windows from the neighboring houses.  DH told me this summer I could probably take my top off back there an no one would see, but I still wouldn't do that!  I just pull the strings down and tie them under my arms to avoid tan lines around the neck.

Mehhh....boobs are boobs, everyone has them.  I don't think sunbathing topless in an area where it is practiced is a big deal at all.  I have in Europe and South Beach years ago but I would certainly not seek out a vacation where this was the primary goal.
