I hate performance reviews
I find it very difficult to complete goal sheets and self assessments. It's one of those things I have always hated doing.
Year end reviews are coming up (we get our performance ratings in February) but because of my leave coming up, I have to get my self assessment form in this month. And my boss, god love her, is not easy to please so this is even more difficult.

I know it's a time to "brag" about yourself, but I am not good at it. And this is my job. I'm supposed to increase productivity while cutting costs. I don't know how I do it, I just rock.

I've always hated self-assessments too. At my old firm the stupid thing was, no lie, 10ish pages long. Haaaated it. Maybe you could pretend to be a colleague and think about how someone might praise or appreciate the work you did. I always find it easier to talk up someone else than myself.
Just as Rock says! Pretend you are looking at yourself as someone else and it may be easier!
