Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Without internet....
life comes to a grinding halt!!!
Oh my lord!!! We had NO internet when we got to work this morning until about 15min ago. It was a VERY long morning. I mean what did we do before internet? I was feeling cut off from clients and especially my girls here!
I did do lots of filing and things of that nature it was pretty boring.

I agree completely. I can't do my job without internet. Emailing is a big part, but so are phone calls. And unfortunately we save all the contact information on our internet based system. So when there's no internet, we can't even make phone calls because we don't have the phone numbers.
I'm glad you have it back now!
It is a very strange concept. Once in a while I find myself thinking about how technology changes things. People I worked with in the hotel industry were always talking about how way back when there was a "Book Room" that had a huge table dedicated to taking reservations and another huge table dedicated to keeping track of events.

I always remind my coworkers how when I started here 4 years ago I used to do all of our staffing in a big log book that I used a PENCIL to fill in! I came up with an internet system. Just much easier then getting pencil everywhere!
Anyway work pretty much came to a halt. We send out contracts, payments and everything else via email.
