Hey,
I don't know how many of you shop Black Friday and frankly it's something I try to avoid at all costs but this year I am hoping to get a good deal on the Ipod touch shuffle and so I'm lurking around the Apple site and Black Friday websites for when the ad comes out. If there is a good deal I'll be getting up early so my question after that long explanation. Do you make a shopping plan? My friends have walkie talkies and wear fun clothes when they go out, they have each others lists and sweep the store from four sides and meet in the middle.
Re: Black Friday Plan
I usually go wtih my BFF, mom, her mom, and her sister. We usually all compile lists and then start at the store that we are looking for the most stuff at and split the list and text what we found to cross off the lists. Then we split into groups and go to different stores and meet back up at someone's house. Really works well for us, and usually get most of our christmas shopping done that day! lol
Lol! I pretty much hate shopping, unless it is at the grocery store, or if I want something specific. I will go out occasionally on Black Friday just to see crazy frantic people shopping. A few years ago my mom wanted a big plasma TV, so the hub and I went and stood in line at Best Buy at like 4am.
I get frustrated, anxious, and annoyed really easy, so I would rather not put myself through that..

I used to work at Best Buy, and it was absurd how many people are willing to camp out the night before to be in line. However, they do hand out tickets/vouchers for their big ticket items, so those that are first in line can say they want one. They know how many tickets/vouchers they hand out and will keep the # of items for those with them. It cuts way down on the crazy stampede's many stores have that day. They also, well most stores, will only let in so many people at a time first thing in the morning.
Good luck Black Friday shoppers!

This sounds hysterical... you might find your iPod on "Cyber Monday". Good Luck!

That sounds like so much fun! Makes me wish I had more friends who like BF shopping!

I usually go with my BFF and we get there as early as possible. We always joke that we are going to get walkie-talkies and matching shirts so we can find each other, but we never do haha. Most years I just go and see what I can find. I never usually have one thing I need to have. Although, there is something at Target I do want to try to get this year.
One idea that we want to try, but will NEVER happen, is take DH's with us so they can stand in line with a cart and we can just run around and grab what we want without having to stand in line! They would never go for that though!
