I'm hosting a cookie swap and want to have awards, we are going to vote on the cookies. There will be about 15-20 kinds of cookies
These are the awards so far, any changes? or additions?
- No. 1 Yummy Cookie Award
- Best Decorated Cookie
- Most Creative Cookie
- All Around Best Cookie
Thanks ladies!
Re: Cookie Swap question.
I guess I'm a little confused by the difference between #1 and #4...is #1 just on taste (i.e., amazing flavor but it can look like something you'd be hesitant to touch) and #4 can't just taste good, it has to look good too? If that's what you're going for, I might change #1 to "Best Flavor" or "Most Delicious."
You could also add "Best Use of Chocolate" or "Most Creative Use of Holiday Flavors" (eggnog, peppermint, gingerbread).
What are you going to give as prizes?
I agree that you need to have a bigger difference between #1 and 4.
I think if you have 15-20 cookies, I wouldn't have more than 6 or so awards. You don't want to have everyone walking away with an award minus two people, that kind of stinks.
Some other ideas for some might have to do with being Kid Friendly, Best Take on a Classic, or "I wish I had thought of that!"

What about "Biggest Suprise Cookie", "Ain't your Gramma's recipe Cookie", "So Beautiful You Don't Want To Eat Cookie", "Most Timely to Prepare",
If you want funny ones you could do - "Most likely to feed to the dog", "It not a taste thing, it's a texture thing", "Most likely to exchange - again."
