This is the week...
FROM HADES.
Seriously.
Longest week EVER. I work for a very small company-- staff of 6. Up until last week the VP worked for another company but owns around 45% of the company. He played a very minimal role in our day-to-day operations. WELL, he just decided to quit his other job, and become full-time VP of our company... and he has decided to change so many things. I don't mind change, but it's STUPID change. Like things that don't make sense, but he doesn't understand because he hasn't really done much around our office up until now. Needless to say, it's been a little tense around here as we adjust to having him here full time and adjusting to his weird ideas. I seriously feel like having an anxiety attack by the time i get home every day because it's been so stressful. BOO
I was supposed to receive a free hair-cut and color this weekend because a friend is "auditioning" at a highly rated salon, and she wanted me to be her model. Well the day got switched and now I can't go. I am so bummed. I know it's not anyone's fault, but I feel let down because i was looking forward to it!
And to top it off there was a pipe that burst in our building this morning, and OF COURSE all the dirty murky water decided to re-route itself up through our sink. It smelled horrible. I had to go to work, but the hubs said the maintenance team has been in and out of there all morning, stopped it from coming out of our sink. But in the process they ruined the nice new kitchen rug I got, destroyed the carpet, and destroyed almost everything under the sink, including the dog's food! They pulled up the carpet and all that, but they said they won't replace it until Monday. So now I get to go home and "relax" in an apartment that smells like sewage, no carpet, messes of cables, and a dog that is pissed off because he has to be locked in the bedroom until they replace everything. AAAAAGH!
Need giant margaritas ASAP.

ahhh! Wow, you've had a rough week. It's never fun to come home on a Friday worrying about stuff, but that smell and mess would be so frustrating! I hope it isn't too bad, and at least it wasn't worse!

maybe the margaritas will help lessen the blow of the icky smelling place and no carpet and pissy puppy. maybe you should have one BEFORE you go home and then a few more at home :P
