What are you getting your hubby for xmas?
Hoping someone has a great (inexpensive) idea I can steal! It's been a rough year!

We moved to Charlotte, NC from IA a couple of years ago and this year for Christmas I want to get his BFF from IA to fly out here. I think it would be so cool if he just rang the doorbell and H had no idea he was coming! However I can't nail down a date with his friend and it might be too expensive. if you are looking for something inexpensive do something crafty like make a coupon book with things and or favors your DH would like. for example:
sexy things of course
favorite meal
massages
no nagging
day w/o kids if you have them
un interrupted football
free pass on house hold chores
Tea Time for Lulu
My husband is a musician so I'm getting him a gc to a music store online. I'm also having his mom and my mom do the same so that he can pick something he wants. Two years ago I bought him a Nikon D90...yeah, that's not an inexpensive gift, but it's something he's been wanting. We usually don't buy gifts for each other because we just get what we want when we want, but since we're at my family's for Christmas, my dad likes to see us open up gifts from each other.
Did you ask him if there was anything in particular that he wanted? Maybe a movie with some popcorn and a bowl and his fav. candy....I did that one year which went over well. That was about 7 years ago and we still use the bowl for our popcorn.
I try to remember the things DH wants, so when he mentions something I write it down on a document on my computer.
My husband likes movies a lot, and many of the ones he has mentioned getting are older ones that you can get cheap, so things like that are what I'm going to do.
Call me Cheap, I call it growing up!
