Question about Groupon!?

So awhile back I bought a groupon for a local restaurant and month or so later we used it.  Today I get an email from Groupon saying to hurry and use it before it expires.  Is this normal even if I've used it or do you think the restaurant never redeemed it?

I purchased it over the summer and used it the third weekend of September if that helps.

I think you have to go in groupon and mark that you used it.  I've had to do this in the past.

Or just ignore the "your Groupon is about to expire!" warning since you know you already used it.

Thanks ladies, I was secretly kind of hoping that the restaurant forgot to redeem it..  I'll go mark it "used"!
