Blargh
Woke up to about 4 inches of snow and it's not stopping or slacking up. The plows are going by, D shoveled the entrance to the driveway, and the kids got pelted with snow (mainly by me).
Oh and for over an hour, we lost power... right after I made a full pot of coffee! I hate that.

Re: Blargh
It's a lazy Saturday for us. I didn't do the laundry or cleaning left it for tomorrow. H and I are cuddled up in the couch watching movies and having cocktails. Later tonight going out to dinner with my parents.
ugh i'm so sorry to hear about the snow! i am dreading the days when the snow starts in this area. H had my snow tires put on the other day and it made me very sad.
i have been shopping all day. it took much longer than i wanted but i a birthday gift for my bff (reason for the shopping trip) and a couple of christmas gifts for my sister and i got my self some boots that were on sale huge! i'm exhausted but i'm happy!
i was hoping to hang out with the IL's tonight, but i have not heard from them... oh well.
It has stopped for now but there's still some more around.
At 2 today, the weather channel was listing us as already getting almost 8 inches since way early this morning. The next town over, where the kids schools are, got 11 inches by the same time.

My brother is disappointed that the storm didn't bring that kind of snow here when it hit a week ago. I think we got a few inches in the mountains. He's ready for snowmobile season.
I, on the other hand, would like to hold onto the warmth as long as possible.
Hope it stops soon and melts so you can have a little bit more Fall left!

Ishy snow. H and I tried our hands at lefse today. It turned out well, but wore me out. He is so excited about having lefse in the fridge.
That's about all I did today, nothing too exciting.
Perfect night to stay in and watch movies and assemble the mammoth tree. It just feels nice knowing we don't have to worry about anyone waking us up in the morning. LOL. Kids are really good at that. Sleeping late with kids? What's that?

Im so jealous! My inlaws didnt end up taking the kids for us
so we were up at 6 just like every morning.
