Cincinnati Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Ohio brides-
Did you use a name change service? NameChangeExpress and MissNowMrs are both 29.95 and I'd like to use their services to make the process easier and quicker, but I have no idea which to choose! Any advice?

Re: Name Change Service?
Totally unnecessary. Changing my name was a piece of cake, no need to spend money to make it easier. Check out this article; I found it really helpful:

Are you a vendor??
Assuming you're not, I see no need to use a service. Besides, do you really want to give some company all of the personal info they'll need to change your name? Focus on your driver's license, SS card, and anything you need to do your job and change the rest when you have the time.

I was always told the answer is no. The tickets must match 100 % your passport. You can submit the name change for the passport it only took me 2-3 weeks to get the updated passport.
I was told no. You can have it expedited, which I would do if I were you, but your ID has to match your passport, which has to match your plane/boarding tickets. If you have gotten your passport within one year, the name change is free, but you will have to pay for expedited processing.
