Introduction
Hello CT Nesties! My name is Kristin and my husband and I have been married for a little over a month now. I work in Fairfield county as a Guidance Counselor. We moved to New Haven county last summer and we love the city, especially the area around Yale. Our friends are spread out across the state and most of my friends are actually in New York (where I'm from). That's why I'm posting here - to hopefully make some new friends.
Being in education, we haven't taken our "real" honeymoon yet. We stayed at a B&B in VT the weekend after the wedding and visited with some family who couldn't make the wedding. Now we are planning a big honeymoon to HI for the summer, so any Honolulu hotel recommendations are welcome!
OK, I'm off to clean the condo for the in-laws' visit ... cleaning is NOT my strong suit so I need to pump myself up for it!

Hi! I'm a newbie too...we have been married almost 3 months! We are both originally from Fairfield County, but are currently in New Haven County too (have been for almost 3 years)...and I love it here! Anyone else from the NH area?
Oh and I've never been to HI - we went on a Caribbean cruise for our honeymoon - Fantastic! It was really nice to get a vacation after all the wedding planning so, have fun in HI!
