New kindle with 3G......worth the extra $$$?
The amazon description says it provides free 3G access. Wouldn't a user have to find a wi-fi spot? Is a reader really capable of useful internet access?

Re: New kindle with 3G......worth the extra $$$?
I got my husband the Kindle with WiFi (only) for our anniversary and he loves it. To me, the 3G didn't make any sense as we have WiFi at home and it's not like he'd be out buying books at some random location.
But from a technical standpoint, I'm thinking the 3G on the Kindle works pretty much like it does on the iPhone - slowly, sure (at least as compared to WiFi), but reliably and rather easily as well.
