I know some of you have one, and I'm getting one for Christmas but I don't know which one to choose.  I think I might want the one that can brew over ice

Please reflesh my mammories and let me know which one you recommend.

I either have the B70 or there B77 that I got off ebay (I can't remember which and I think the only real difference is one is sold only at Costco). I like it a lot and my understanding of how it makes iced beverages if you basically brew the espresso size onto ice and the ice melts to make a full sized iced coffee. I'd try it now, but I don't have any ice.

I have the B70 (two sizes for brewing).  We make the raspberry iced tea all the time.  We fill a cup with iced brew the tea over it and bliss occurs.

I don't know what all of these numbers mean, but I have the Platinum brewing system, and my life is truly better now than it was before I owned it. I wouldn't buy a better model just for the iced feature though, because it works exactly like mod said, so you can just use a smaller portion size to get the same result.

Don't buy the special edition brewing system, which my parents have, because it makes a sound like metal grinding together every time it brews a cup of coffee.  They thought it was broken, and returned it.  The salesperson gave them a new one, but said the sound was "normal", and sure enough, their new one makes the same exact sound.

I also have the platinum one.  One of the best gifts ever because I use it so frequently.  It was a godsend during maternity leave when I needed coffee stat.

I think the B70 = the platinum one.  And I also think it's the one I saw at the store that had the picture on the front of the iced tea.  So, basically, I think we're all speaking the same language here in a roundabout way.

So I'll look for the platinum one and run far far away from the metal grinding sounds of the special edition

If you're looking for a good place to get k-cups, I just ordered a bunch from coffeewiz.com.  I've had good luck with that site and greatcoffee.com  You should get the Green Mountain Wild Mountain Blueberry coffee.  I know what you're thinking, but it's seriously good.
