Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Thank you for the thread below with the birthday wishes! I just saw it now and figured I'd say thank you up here so it doesn't get lost in the shuffe farther down the page :-)
NYC was shorter than usual this year since I think we were guilty doggy parents and took an earlier train home on Sunday to go pick up the furbaby from the kennel (she did fine being boarded - was a little excitable when we got her, though - think she was just happy to be out of the cage since we don't crate her at home).
Anyway, celebrated with DH and my parents on Friday (DH got me a lovely Tiffany's ring!!) And we took the train down to NYC on Saturday...walked around Union Sqaure, did a little shopping, and then went to dinner at our traditional place - 3 years in a row now we have gone there for my birthday...of course I fell asleep early. Breakfast on Sunday, went to a cupcake store we love and brought home a box of 6, and took an early train home...so tired now. I can't believe it's only 5:00 here! Feels so much later - but I didn't sleep very well last night so that's probably why.
Anyway, I hope everyone had a nice weekend! Time to catch up on some threads... :-)
