Mine was lovely. Lots of shopping, got the house super clean, had dinner at my favorite Thai restaurant. Good stuff. Also, do we have any updates on monster vag?
Re: How was your weekend?
We had an evening in Friday night and were completely lazy. Saturday, I went shopping for a few hours and found some killer sales, so I knocked out some of the Christmas shopping already. Saturday night, I made Chicken Masala and Carrot Cake Bread Pudding which was scrumptious, and we watched Alabama put a beat down on Mississippi State. It was brutal. Sunday, we just watched football all day.
Facebook is providing no monster vag info.

Mine started out iffy but ended up being really good. On Friday I worked until about 9:30. My H was out with friends, so Jenny and I got in bed and watched Top Chef Just Desserts.
Saturday we went for a delicious brunch with friends. Then I caved in and bought some bigger bras (again). A friend came over and we hung out for a few hours, then MrTummy and I went out for a nice dinner at a cozy little restaurant. Yesterday I lounged on the couch and watched football. H made beer can chicken and roasted vegetables for dinner, and it was delicious.

I miss the weekend and don't want to work today or tommorow.
Yesterday we went to the local mountains where all the apple picking farms are. We took the dogs and went for a walk on the trails and then had a picnic with tri tip sandwhiches and apple cider. The farm we went to has a big open field were all the visitors picnic and hang out. Ally was so happy because I let her off the leash and she took her ball to all the kids for them to throw to her. I seriously have not seen her this happy in months. She was the center of attention and loved it. Then we came home and I want to go back to the farm and live there forever.
Good, but tiring. F was gone so it was just me and Ian for most of the weekend. We spent lots of time at the playground, and at Target buying some new toys so he wouldn't get bored with just me. I did a lot of cooking and football watching.
Here's a short video (with crappy camera work) of him going down the slide. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9D7FpyiJMl4
*Edited to fix the link
it was good, spent a lot of time with my H, we don't really see each other during the week so it was nice to have a whole weekend together.
I sent my son a text yesterday to find out what was going on, I wrote "what's the story?" he responded with "West Philadelphia, born and raised. on the playground is where I spent most of my days". This had me in bethietears for a good 5 minutes.
My husband and son had strep last week, so I was thankful to work this weekend. Sadly, on the way to work on Sunday, I threw up in the car, while driving. I do not recommend this. It hit me so fast that I didn't have time to pull over. Now I have strep, and everyone else is back to work and school. This is not how I would have chosen to have the day to myself.
Lemon shortbread cookies? Ressypee please!
Mashed, your kid cracks me up.
Ian is adorable! I watched the video 3 times. He just learned to walk and now he's already moved on to sliding.
My weekend was pretty awesome. Went to a great baby shower with so much good food that I think I gained 10 pounds. We didn't even cut into the cake (which was pretty kickass looking -- it was in the shape of a duck surrounded by blue jello water) because we were so stuffed.
Then I took a 20 minute disco nap before heading back out to meet up with the same group of ladies for dinner and to see HUMP, the amateur porn festival. There was a lot of hilarious stuff as well as stuff that I'll never be able to unsee. Afterward, one friend announced she was pregnant which prompted another to say, "Me too!"
Some of the group went off to a club to see Biz Markie DJ, but I was an old putz and went home to lounge on my couch in my PJs instead. Most of them ended up giving up before he came out anyway, so I feel I made the right choice. Two of the girls came back to my place to crash for the night.
Sunday, I met up with 3 of the girls for brunch at a really great breakfast place where I had the greatest French toast of my life.

I no can haz bebeh.
How's that for monster vag news?
She's going to stay in there forever.
This weekend I harvested my mucus plug and finished up the room she'll never see. I bought 3 different curtain for her room and returned them as many times. I have a few things to finish up but I hope to bring the pictures today seeing I can't bring the bebeh.
And if anyone would like for me to recount the harvesting of the mucus plug, just ask. I'll go into great detail.
Yes please.
CMC--I hit the outlets on Friday afternoon. Gap was INSANE but I made out with some pretty good deals.

I hope you had the extra 30% off coupon
It was crazy, we drove around for 20 minutes to find parking, then gave up and just made our own space. By the time we left, people were parked all over every grassy part of the lot and the road.

You asked for it....
I lost my mucus plug in pieces all day on Saturday. With Alex it fell out in the toilet so I couldn't really look at it. But this one has been coming out in chunks that get stuck in my vag that I literally have to pull out with my fingers. I tried to get it with tp, but this sh!t is evasive. I have to wind my fingers around it like I'm pulling off chicken fat and pull down. It looks like a collective sinus infection from 5 different people. We're talking Monster Bloody Booger like no other. And it happened at least 4 or 5 times! I can't imagine what it would of looked of felt like if I got it all at once. And in between harvesting vagina loogies, my underwear was filled with what looked like the jelly that surrounds a canned ham.
Farcking awesome disgusting, right?!
God, I love science.
Anyway, it's making me feel like something is happening at least, so I loved every disgusting second.

That sounds delightful, Hezz! Thanks for sharing. I hope you put the pieces in a jar so you could send them to Lyse.
CMC -- there is no E in Rice Christi Treats. Well, I guess there's one, but it's in the word Treat.

On one hand I am making a Will face about the mucous plug but on the other hand I appreciate the honesty so I am not shocked when this happens to me someday.
My weekend was filled with three birthday parties where I ate too much cake.
I had the same Saturday as Cali.
Yesterday my sister took the baby when he woke up at 7am and let Dan and I sleep in until 9:30 -- blissful. I take back every negative thing I said about her last week.
Then we went bridesmaid dress shopping but didn't find anything. She's crazy, trying to find light pink dresses off the rack in November.
Then we went to my cousin's house for dinner. He has three boys (10 and two 6 year olds) that adore Sean. It's so cute.
And now I'm sad it's Monday again already.
The hair grows in thick where the horn used to be.
That mucus plug story. Man.
It started out pretty crappy but got better. I took my car in for an oil change and a recall repair, and was told I needed $850 in repairs. I was expecting part of it (timing belt/drive belts, it's almost time), but on Brett's last car it was like $250. They want to charge me $650. No thank you ma'am.
We went Christmas shopping on Saturday, and are already halfway finished. I still have to find a non-ugly wall-mount wine rack for Brett if there are any suggestions.
Yesterday was very nice. Brett's working on the day after Thanksgiving, so he won't be at my grandma's on T-day. So I made some turkey legs and ham, and potato and broccoli casserole and we had mini Thanksgiving lunch. Then we put up our Christmas decorations, even the tree.
The nerve!

Pretty tame. Grocery shopping, a whole lot of SVU, a whole lot of sleeping in. And tacos. I love taco night and I got two taco nights because of leftovers. Mmmm. Did get to Harvard Sq yesterday for some walking around and CUPCAKES so that was nice.
Since my weekend was so uneventful, I'm going to stretch it to today and say I'm going to a Bruins game tonight. Excitement!

Mine was also lovely. Friday was just packing/cleaning. Saturday morning we left, got into Boston in the early afternoon, hung out in city, and had sushi for dinner (yeah, yeah, yeah, pregnant, I know. It was cooked.) Sunday we spent some more time in Boston, then went in Cambridge for a while, hit up a bunch of used bookstores, and then *ahem* CALI *ahem* watched the Patriots beat the Steelers at a downtown bar/restaurant. I also had a whole lobster for dinner and it was delicious.
