Help settle this

Those of you who live in South Toledo or know the area.

If you are traveling west on Schnieder, when it curves to Heatherdowns, heatherdowns it is a seperate road b/c Schnieder contunies straight.

YES or NO?

And part two:

If someone is coming east on Schnieder while you are traveling west and making the curve to Heatherdowns, do you signal left?

Re: Help settle this

  • I go this way all the time, and yes Heatherdowns is a separate road with no yield on the turn.  I always signal if cars are coming towards me on Schneider because I don't want them to assume I'm going straight.

The other day I was driving with B and put my signal on and he asked me why. When i gave the aboce statment, he looked at my like I had a second head.

I do this as well.  And if I'm staying straight onto Schneider, I usually signal right if someone is at that stop sign coming towards me, so that they can go ahead if there's no other traffic. :)    DH does the same.

    EXACTLY!!!

Whenever I'm at that stop sign, I also always honk at anyone who doesn't signal and I'm going through the intersection, assuming they're going straight on Schneider...
