What are you serving for Thanksgiving? Or if you are going to somewhere else, what is usually served?
So far our menu is:
Turkey & Gravy
Rolls
Mashed Potatoes
Green Bean Casserole
Corn Casserole
Pumpkin Cheesecake
I usually make Sweet Potato Casserole too, but DH doesn't like it and I don't really need to be eating a huge container of it myself (stupid GD)
Re: One more Turkey day poll
We usually have:
Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean cass, rolls, sweet potatoes (cooked on the stove with marshmallows and brown sugar), cranberry relish, pumpkin pie, apple pie, custard pie, chocolate cream pie, lemon merangue pie and coconut cream pie. When my dad is coming we also have pecan pie. Generally there are more pies than people.
At my parents we've been doing brunch the last couple of years, so it's probably going to be something like:
Quiche, Frittata, Ham/Hashbrown Casserole, Cinnamon Rolls, etc.
At DH's Grandparents it's usually:
Turkey, Ham, Kielbasa, Stuffing, Mashed/AuGratin/Hashbrown Potatoes, Salad, Green Bean Casserole, Sweet Potatoes, Corn Casserole, Mixed veggies, Rolls, and a million desserts.
DH has a BIG extended family, so there is a lot of food!!!

I usually host, but this year MIL wants to b/c she is putting her house on the market in the spring and she is so emotional about it being her last thanksgiving in the house. So whatevs. I am sure we will have the standard.
I usually have turkey, stuffing, yams, mashed tatos, cornbread casserole, green been casserole, gravy, rolls, pies, breads. I feel like I am forgetting something.
After ready Raspberries, I jsut might take some Stanley's to MILs. That sounds so good.
Seems like no matter where we go...there's always ham served along with the turkey. Sometimes we get three different varieties of turkey - the traditional, smoked and deep fried. If we go to DH's aunt's, there will be her mac & cheese (awesome), chitlins (no thanks), and his MIL will make a sweet potato pie if she hasn't gone to Atlanta. If it's my one aunt's house, she usually has all kinds of appetizers/munchies (she has her own catering company these days and always experimenting with the apps). My grandmother will always have a lemon meringue pie specifically for me along with a mushroom cheeseball. My other aunt has a clam back or oyster thing or something along those lines...her boyfriend's family's tradition.
