Traveling to LA
Hi I am a Colorado nestie and my DH and I may be traveling to LA soon - possibly this weekend to see the Cubs play the Dodgers. What airport is the closest to Dodger Stadium? Any good hotel recs as well? TIA!

you can fly into lax or burbank. ?the latter isn't as crazy.

Growing Up Olson
You will be in Downtown Los Angeles going to Dodgers Stadium. Lots of hotels surround the stadium through Downtown Los Angeles. The Biltmore, The Marriott, The Bonaventure.
If it were me, budget and scheduling aside, I'd pick Burbank over LAX. As posted above, Burbank is a smaller airport, less crowded, etc.
Search for hotels in Burbank, Glendale, Los Feliz. These cities are off a main freeway (the 5 FWY) and just north of Dodgers Stadium, within 15 miles. http://tinyurl.com/4w72pj
As for things to do: Universal City Walk / Universal Studios, Hollywood Walk of Fame / Mann Chinese Theatre, Disneyland in Anaheim (about 30 miles south of Dodgers Stadium).

I would not stay in a hotel off the 5. The traffic will be a nightmare and there's not good public transportation in that area.
