Shampoo/conditioner issues
I have been using an EF shampoo/conditioner for a few months now. I noticed that it is progressively not really getting my hair clean. It is greasy as soon as it dries. It doesn't feel or look nice.
On Sunday I used "regular" shampoo and condition and oh my what a difference. Feels and looks so much better.
Anyone else ever have this problem? Have you found a shampoo and conditioner that works for you that is EF?
Re: Shampoo/conditioner issues
I've been using solid shampoo for the last 6 or 8 months, no conditioner. Works great - the last batch I got in Canmore from this place:

The other thing to consider is if you use other styling products, the less-harsh shampoos can't remove them well. I stick to LiveFree from Shopper's for the bit of mousse I use.
I had that problem, too. I posted on here to find an EFway to get rid of the greasy feeling and product build up and got a bunch of recommendations for washing with baking soda and rinsing with apple cider vinegar. It totally worked. My hair was so soft, full and bouncy with no product build up. Now I only "wash" with that combo.
I use 2 tbsp. baking soda to 1 c. water for the wash and the same ratio of vinegar/water for the rinse.
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
Switching up every few months sounds like it could work. My hair is obviously so smart that it knows how to over power the shampoo!!
I don't use any other product in my hair so I guess the Live Clean shampoo just wasn't doing the job of getting rid of the natural build up.
I will try out the homemade version too and see how that works.
Sorry I'm a little late, hopefully you'll still read this.
Organic baby wash/shampoo will strip more oil (and other build-up) then a regular, all natural, shampoo. So maybe find a nice baby shampoo and give that a try. Its what I use and it works wonders.
Now I use Dr. Bronner's as shampoo and Soap Works Shampoo/Conditioner bar as conditioner, and still use a tiny tiny drop of hemp oil cream. Never had hair so soft or strong.
