Hi
I'm new to this board - and the Nest all together. I have been searching for a week or two for a really good dessert for Thanksgiving - that doesn't contain pumpkin. Do you have any suggestions for me?
Thanks!

Pecan pie drizzled with chocolate could be good. Dulce de leche cheesecake bars with fleur de sel are also very tasty, they're very rich and maybe because of that remind me of the holidays but you could also add cinnamon and/or nutmeg with success:

Caramel Apple Cheesecake
Flourless Chocolate cake (sereve with fresh raspberries, raspberry sauce and whipped cream)
Pecan Pie
Coconut Cream Pie
Banana Cream Pie
Mmmm...apple pie, apple pie, apple pie!! Apples are sooo good right now, I like a mix of granny smith and fuji - YUM! I made my first apple pie from scratch last year and was shocked at how good it turned out, I mean GOOD! I was so proud of myself
I'll post the recipe when I get home.
