Moving to Orlando - Need JOB - any suggestions?
Hi everyone!
I am desperately seeking employment in the Orlando area. I have been to two temporary agencies, and so far the positions have been filled pretty quickly. I have also tried Craigslist - which by the way was filled with mainly scams. Career Builder, Monster, etc.
I have a lot of customer service, administrative, A/R experience. Please let me know of anything in the area or surrounding areas you may be aware of.
Thanks in advance for all your help!
Re: Moving to Orlando - Need JOB - any suggestions?
There is an independent type temp agency in Winter Park called Tew's ...try them out. My company has hired many of the temps into perm assignments.

Contact all the contracting companies (I don't consider these temp agencies). The recruiters make money from the company, not you. But don't be afraid to negotiate pay with them - they want to make a deal as much as you do. Some off the top of my head:
Ajilon Office
Manpower
Adecco
Techsystems
Ugh - I can't think of any more for some reason - brain block.
We also have some HQ here:
Darden
Home Depot Supply
AAA
Tupperware
Disney
Universal
Seaworld
Airtran
Apple is another recruiting company.
