I have an appt with Kathi (Bridal 101) on the 23rd
to see about turning my dress into a Christmas tree skirt 
For 8 years it's been collecting dust in our spare room. H wanted me to donate or sell it, but I just couldn't do that. Let's face it, though, I'm never going to wear it again. In 40 years my mom's dress has seen the light of day exactly once - at their 40th anniversary party. This way we can use it every year. I figured it's rather fitting since we got married Dec 14.
I can't wait! Once it's done ya'll will have to teach me how to post pics

She cracks me up too, she's fun to be around. It seems like seamstresses are always itty bitty things that barely speak, she's the complete opposite

She did my wedding dress and I LOVED her. She is so funny and sweet.
