Nashville ?

I was wondering if any of you have ever been to Nashville TN ?? DH and I are going this weekend for the Titans game and we are making a weekend of it and I was looking for recommendations on things to do and places to eat.

I'm there once a month for work & meetings. My favorite area is The Gulch. There's a gourmet Mexican place there that has AMAZING food and they make all of their salsa's - I think they have like 20 different varieties or something crazy like that. So yummy! There's also a wine place (Wine Loft, i think?) across the street that's great. Urban Flats is pretty good, too.

I go there all of the time as it's just an hour from where I live!

There is ALL KINDS of stuff to do there!  Where are you staying? There are all kinds of really fun bars on Broadway, including an awesome piano bar called: "Big Bang".  There's also a really fun Honky Tonk Bar called Toots, where famous Country singers go all of the time to hang out and have been known to jump on stage and sing some songs.

There are also several REALLY yummy restaurants on West End like Maggianos, PF Changs, Ruth's Chris, and Amerigo (awesome Italian. 

The area Lindsey mentioned is an awesome place too!

You should really go to Opryland Hotel.  They just reopened this week  after having to close for repairs for several months because of the flooding.  They probably have their Christmas stuff up and it is AMAZING.  Right beside the hotel is a HUGE mall with all kinds of outlet stores.

Nashville is a great place and there is so much to do!!

was there in October and loved it. If you are a "tour " person, tommy's tour is fun and you see celebrity houses, and he's sooo funny. I liked the Gulch area also, we went there our first night. If you are still there Tuesday, definately go to the station Inn and see the Doyle and Debbie show, it is hysterical! I really liked Nashville!

We are def going to the OpryLand Hotel !!! I just looked at the website and they are doing some really cool stuff for Christmas. I would splurge on rocket tickets but not sure if DH would like that.

I really can't wait!!! I wish we were staying till Tuesday because that sounds like fun.

Yes, that is a great area!  You are just a couple of blocks/easy walk from Broadway where all of the fun bars and restaurants are. And literally an $8 cab ride will get you from Broadway all the way down to West End so a really fun night life is all right there!!
