I also got a BFP!
I actually got it on Monday night; I was 14 DPO at that point. V wanted me to wait a few more days because he was afraid I'd be disapointed. Well, I snuck out to get a cheapie test anyway and it was positive. This morning I tested with a digital just to make sure and it's definitely positive.
I think the baby should be due around July 25th.
We're definitely a little shocked. Emotionally, I think we're both ready but we have a lot of practical matters to get in order. V is hoping to get a defense date soon; his thesis is almost done but bureaucracy keeps holding him back. We'll need to move, which means V needs a job so we know how much house we can afford. Fortunately, my maternity benefits are very generous. We'll make it work.
We're planning to tell everyone IRL at Christmas. As much as our parents would be excited, I have a feeling they'd also worry about V's situation, and I just don't want to deal with any negativity right now. So we're waiting. I'm dying to tell my brother though; he'll be soooo excited. Anyway same old spiel... please no posts on FB. Thanks

its ok... there are soooo many people and like 10+ new intros everyday so its getting really hard to keep track... I actually skip a lot of posts because everything is getting repetitive since people are new this wk have q's that were asked last week, etc... overall the girls are nice, only a little snark here and there when someone deserves it -from what Ive seen...
it's hard bc a lot of people are also m/cing since its so early.. Its hard to get used to seeing a sn or siggy and then see them say goodbye... its also hard to read everyones fears bc it just reminds you of your own.... I have a feeling in a few months there will be less posters, kinda like girls who get engaged then knot, then get busy and fall off....
