No more free game-day parking at LSU

The lots in the "heart" of campus will charge either $20 or $40 PER GAME for fans to park and tailgate. This is so authorities can "control" the crowd - who comes in and out and where they park. 

What do you think? I think it's a crock o' sh!t. LSU gets enough from the sale of tickets, concessions, TAF donations and the mandatory donation with season tickets.

LSU really needs to get over themselves sometimes.  They do sh*t like this because they know people will complain but they will pay it.

I don't have a problem with it, depending on what they're going to do with the funds earned. I most defenitely wouldn't have a problem if they used towards academics and programs that are in jeopardy of being cut. I do have a problem with it if they plan on using it towards sports or "improvements".

The money would definitely not go towards the University, just the Athletic department and for clean-up expenses. The university has a strict policy that all money made by the Athletic department stays with the athletic department and does not go to education. Just like money from tuition does not go to athletics.
