  • I have a set of hooks by the door that says "keys" in case anybody gets confused. And the boys' beds have their first initials hanging over the headboard. Though Jonas has taken to sleeping in Elliot's bed lately so I told him we have to change his name. Those command strips are a b!tch to get off.

None of the above, but if people enjoy these things, whatever.

No, not whatever.  I'm tracking the IP addresses of each respondent.  Eventually I will obtain their home addresses and burn their houses to the ground.

Also, your response translates as, "I have all of these things, and some you forgot to mention."

That is what my responses translates to because I don't really give a flying fvck about what people do or don't have in their homes.

    Um, ok?  Huh?

I will tell you that my little sister has word decor in every room.  it's unreal.  every where you look, you receive a message of hope Tongue Tied

That is my BIL/SIL's house!  There are at least three "live laugh love" items in their home, easily.

I have wood cutouts of "Celebrate" and "Relax" on top of my cabinets.  I think they're OK b/c they're not sentimental, and I think of them as my reminders to drink wine.

My living room actually has three different colored walls.  One is because there is a heavy buffet in front of one wall and I didn't feel like emptying it to move it so I could paint when I lightened up the other non-accent walls in that room (living room).  I'll get around to it one day.  I still have the paint from the two same walls in my basement.  And get this, the original accent wall is SPONGE PAINTED.  But the previous owners did sponging on a wall that already had a stucco-like texture, so it actually doesn't look too obviously spongy at all.

  • I have a chalkboard decal -- does that count?  And I bought some of those alphabet photos to spell out a word, but I haven't found a frame to put them in yet.  Also, I love damask and it has taken extreme restraint not to plaster my entire house with it.  So far I just made two roman shades with damask fabric.

Oh, I'm definitely coming for you first!  Anyway, I was just joking.  You need to take the advice of the "Relax" decal that I know you have over your tub.

  • We have words in Edith's room...not her name, but wooden letters that say bonne nuit.  The other stuff is NMS.

  • I think word/letter decor in children's rooms is cute and perfectly acceptable.

I didn't think it was possible to hate you any more due to your hotness and your adorable children.  But now I see that you have an apartment with the most awesome view and huge ass windows.  So yes, I hate you more.  (hate = want to steal your life)

    Hmm...

that dog is the CUTEST!!!! omg.

    he's alright.....

  • Hmmm.  We have antique typesetting that spells out POODLE, but that doesn't really count as word decor as it's not inspirational/motivational.
    Left, Right
  • Wahoo!  NONE here!
  • The only thing from that list that I have is a "Live Love Laugh" spoonrest.

I was thinking about doing an accent wall whenever we get around to painting the bedroom, but maybe I'll rethink that idea.

I do have a framed print of the I Corinthians wedding stuff in the bedroom. In my defense, I was a newlywed when I bought it. I don't really even notice it anymore.

  • None of the originally listed items, but I do have the red kitchen. Embarrassed Do I get some leniency since it is a darker shade?
  • I don't have any of those things, although MIL may have bought us one or more of them for various birthdays or Christmases...those gifts usually never leave the bag and go right to goodwill.

Also, I have no clue who Thomas Kincaid is.

  • I actually scanned the house for these items.  I was certain that I had word things somewhere.

Turns out, I don't.  And that's a lot to say, given the amount of crap that i have.

    That's right, CRAP!
