When I got back after a walk this evening dh started telling me that next year (when his car is paid of and we were going to trade mine in for something newer) we should opt for a minivan!!
He then suggested that I be the one to drive it. I swear I have nothing against minivans but he is getting so far ahead of himself, I would think about it if we were working on #2. I am trying very hard to not go crazy thinking ahead but he is constantly spouting out new baby related dh-isms . I forgot a few of them but I need to start writing them down I think you would all be very entertained.
Re: The 'M' word
My friend loves her Sienna!
No minivans for us, I'm hoping if we can keep my car until little one is about 1-2 then we can get the Jeep Wrangler we want for the beach.

You should definitely write down his DH-isms, or you'll forget them! (or you'll never have time to write them down once your little one arrives)
For the record: MH is the first person to suggest a minivan, and I have no doubt that, if you two get one, YH will be jealous and will want to drive it around :P
I'm on a mother's chat board and many of them drool over the Sienna -- they wish they had one instead of their SUV! It's all about the sliding door and being able to lift that carseat in easily (some of them have remote door openers -- I wish I had one of those when my hands are full with a 19 lb baby)
LMAO!! You guys crack me up. I wish we could afford an SUV and continue to save so we are looking at maybe a crossover. We both have become pretty big fans of Hyundai.
Rebek I totally have my journal pulled out and set aside for his dh-isms, I am so mad I forgot the ones he already said because they were funny as he!!.
Summer your a girl after my own heart.
